Monday, October 7, 2019 by Irina Buevska-Cowell | Uncategorized

Dear Students,

To celebrate the release of the new  AMEB Piano syllabus and Series 18 publications, AMEB and Kawai Australia have teamed up to offer Australian pianists the chance to win one of two Kawai pianos.

Enter a Level 1 piece (Preliminary to Grade 4) to win a Kawai ES110 portable digital piano OR enter a Level 2 piece (Grade 5 to Grade 8) to win a Kawai K-300 upright piano.

To enter, record a video of yourself playing your chosen piece from a Series 18 Grade Book and upload the video via the form below.

The competition is open until 31 October 2019.

The winners will be announced in November 2019.

A panel of expert judges will watch every video and assess them against our Competition Assessment Criteria and select a winner from each Level.

Only pieces from the AMEB Series 18 grade books will be eligible. You may only enter one competition category, either Level 1 or Level 2, however you may enter as many pieces as you like within your chosen level.

Please read the Recording Guidelines before recording your video.

Please read the Competition Terms & Conditions prior to entering.

LEVEL 1 – Preliminary to Grade 4.  Age limit:  14 and under.

LEVEL 2 – Grade 5 to Grade 8.  Age limit:  Open to all ages.

Please find all of the necessary information on the following website:

Hopefully a Western Australian Pianist might be one of the winners!

Let’s join in to make this a wonderful competition to celebrate the launch of the New Piano Syllabus.
